Implements equipped with an electrical system, disconnect the entire implement - tractor harness connections before performing electrical system service and maintenance or welding on the implement. CRITICAL: Install and handle brackets and electronic system components safely Install and handle all vehicle mounting brackets in a safe manner. Serious injury can result from falling while performing service, installations or maintenance.
Chapter 1 – Components This section lists the kits and components required to set up YieldTrakk monitoring. It also provides a system outline and overview of mounting positions. 1.1. System outline The system consists of an ECU and a number of harnesses which interface with the factory installed Quantimeter sensors on the Claas Lexion combine.
1.4.2. 1006353-01 KIT, ISO Yield Claas Upgd Base Part Number Description Quantity 1006429-01 HARNESS, YM Claas Grain Moist Y Adapter 1006355-01 SUBKIT, YM Test Weight 1006363-01 HARNESS YM Claas Head Height Y Adapter 1006313-01 ECU YM ISO Module...
The YieldTrakk YM-1 Claas upgrade kit uses the signals from the Quantimeter sensors to measure the yield and moisture of grain flowing through the combine.

2. The YieldTrakk harness 1006354-01 connects into the factory harnessing on the combine. Disconnect both the yield and moisture sensors from the factory looms and connect in the YieldTrakk harness. 3. Secure the harness and connectors with cable ties and route forward to the ECU.
Chapter 2 – Hardware Installation 2.2. Header position harness installation The YieldTrakk yield monitoring utilizes the header position to determine when the combine is in/out of work. The upgrade kit interfaces to the factory installed header height potentiometer. 1. Locate the factory installed header height potentiometer on the side of the feed house trunking under the cab.
2.3. YieldTrakk YM-1 ECU 2.3.1. Mounting position The recommended mounting position for the YM-1 ECU on the Claas Lexion combine is below the cab on the same side as the header height sensor. To enable correct operation of the integral angle sensors, the ECU must be mounted VERTICALLY and oriented as shown below.

Chapter 2 – Hardware Installation Locate the cross member under the cab to install the ECU. 2. Mark out mounting holes for the ECU on the cross member. Drill 2x 5mm holes and then tap with M6 thread. 3. Mount the ECU on the cross member using the two M6x25mm bolts supplied in the kit.
2.3.2. Wiring connections All wiring harnesses are to be routed back to the YieldTrakk ECU. All harnesses are to be cable tied to existing harnessing or fixtures, to ensure a clean fit and prevent interference with moving parts. All connections at the ECU and on external harnesses are labeled and color coded.
Chapter 2 – Hardware Installation 2.4. Interface to X30 Console Harness 1005427-01 connects between the YieldTrakk YM-1 ECU and X30 console harness (AGA4700), via the YieldTrakk Comms four pin Deutsch connector. The YieldTrakk ISO Comms Termination harness must be run up into the cabin.
