MiniPOV4 Kit
The Adafruit MiniPOV4 kit can be assembled without any external guidance, as the value and
orientation for each component is clearly marked on the PCB. Like the MintyBoost® Kit, you will
want to solder down the IC socket rather than the IC itself. Just don't forget to insert the IC before
powering on the kit – nothing will work without it!
Once batteries have been inserted and the device is powered on, you will see the 8 LEDs begin to
flicker after a 3 second boot period. It doesn't look like much when its sitting still, but can create
full-color 8-pixel tall art when you move it in a dark room. The potentiometer (blue knob) lets you
change the speed, and you can program your own images by following the tutorial at:
