Measure Static Pressure and Running Pressure

8. Measure the running pressure; value must be:

a minimum resolution of 0.04 "w.c. for measuring the
running pressure.

9. Enter gas type into Maintenance Record on page 73
in this manual.
10. Switch off the heating system on/off switch on the
boiler control unit (boiler is shut down), close the
gas shutoff valve, remove the manometer and
re-tighten the screw in the test nipple "PE" A.
11. Open gas shutoff valve and check that the test
nipple "PE" and all gas connections are gas-tight.
WARNING
Ensure that there is no open flame in the room.
WARNING
Never purge a gas line into a combustion chamber.
Never use matches, candles, flame, or other sources of
ignition for purpose of checking leakage. Use a soap and
water solution to check for leakage. A failure to follow
this warning could result in fire, explosion, personal injury
or loss of life.
