Device description, function Memosens COS81D Spot cap The oxygen dissolved in the medium is diffused to the fluorescence layer of the spot cap. A suitable flow is not required, as no oxygen is consumed during measurement. However, flow improves the speed at which the measuring system reacts and ensures a more representative measured value compared to a measurement in a static medium.
