PACKAGING/HANDLING
RECEIVING:
1. Count cartons before signing shipping papers.
2. Compare the number of cartons shipped with the number actually received.
3. Visually inspect all cartons for any damage.
4. If number of packages shipped and received do not match up or if there is
any damage to carton, note on freight bill and have driver sign
acknowledging the claim and notify your Medline sales rep or Medline
Industries Customer Service (800-MEDLINE).
UNPACKING (IF BOXED):
1. Remove bands and top.
2. Carefully cut the tie holding the power cord and the hand set, being careful
not to cut or nick cords or cables.
3. With at least TWO people, gently roll bed over to upright position; inspect
plug and cord for any cuts or damage. If none, plug in and elevate to a
comfortable work height.
4. Remove black color steel shipping protectors.
INSTALLATION:
With the bed in a normal upright position, insert the snap button end of each
head and foot board bracket into the mounting tubes located at each bed corner
with the opposing end of the bracket directed upwards. Insert brackets into
mount tubes until snap buttons align in holes. Ensure that snap buttons are
seated in proper hole before bed use.
Insert the cap nuts provided in the attachment hardware bag into the pre-drilled
holes in head and foot boards using a rubber mallet. If laminated on one side
