The device is designed for a maximum
operating time of 1 minute without inter-
ruption (see "Operating time" on
page 17).
In order to prevent damage to the de-
vice, interrupt the blending process im-
mediately if the blade is either turning
with difficulty or not turning at all. Pull
out the mains plug and check whether
there is something in the bowl blocking
movement or whether the food is too
tough. Also check whether the device is
assembled correctly.
Do not use the device for boiling liquids
or during the cooking process.
Only use the original accessories.
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.

5. Installation

• Remove all packing material.
• Check to ensure that all parts are pres-
ent and undamaged.
• Clean the device prior to its first
use (see "Cleaning" on page 18)!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Only plug the mains plug 1 into a wall
socket if the motor unit 2 has been con-
nected to the blender 3.
Only connect the mains plug 1 to a
properly installed and easily accessible
grounded wall socket whose voltage cor-
responds to the specifications on the rat-
ing plate. The wall socket must still be
easily accessible after the device is
plugged in.
Pull the mains plug 1 out from the wall
socket after every use.
5.1 Mounting the hand
blender attachment
(Figure A)
1. Place the hand blender attachment 3 on
the motor unit 2 in such a way, that the
attachment marking 5 points to the sym-
bol
 6.
2. Turn the hand blender attachment 3 in
such a way, that the attachment marking
 5 on the motor unit 2 points to the
lock marking

5.2 Removing the hand

• To remove the hand blender attachment 3,
turn it in such a way that the attachment
