Recording a TV Program
Note: Refer to the User's Guide on the VideOh! CD for more
information on recording, creating recording schedules, and
using the EPG.
To capture your TV programming:
1 Ensure you have enough disk space on your hard drive to
accommodate the new file. Refer to the Getting Help section of
the User's Guide on the CD for help estimating capture file sizes.
2 Select the channel you want, using the Control Panel, keyboard,
remote control, or your set-top box controls.
Note: WinDVR cannot control the channels on your digital
cable or satellite receiver set-top box.
3 Click the Record button on the Control Panel to begin recording.
WinDVR indicates how much disk space (recording time) is left
on your hard drive. Use this information to ensure you have
enough room available to record your program.
4 Click the Stop button when you're finished recording.
5 When prompted, enter a name for the recorded file, then click
OK. By default, your file will be saved to the
