SANDWICH MAKER - INSTRUCTION MANUAL ITEM NO: SSM-2549 GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read the instruction manual carefully and follow the following safety precautions. Keep the manual for future reference and available to every user of the device. * In case you give the device to another person, it must be accompanied by the instruction manual. - Page 21 experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. * This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. * Never leave the device unattended (whether in use or not) in a place easily accessible by children.

HOW TO MAKE TOASTED SANDWICHES - When using for the first time, wipe the surface of the platens with a piece of damp cloth, dry cloth or tissue. Then smear the platen with butter, margarine or cooking fat. - Fit the plug into the socket. - Close the sandwich maker and prepare sandwich while toaster is heating. - Page 23 - For added flavor use bacon dripping, brush the dripping on the outside surface of the bread. - Suggested garnishes for savory sandwiches, lettuce, mint, cress, stuffed olive halves onion, tomato, etc. - A teaspoon of sugar sprinkled on the outside surface of bread makes the sandwich crisper (especially with fruit fillings).
