D: Marderabwehr – eine runde Sache mit dem M1500 von K&K
Naturgetreue Sinustöne für erhöhte Abschreckung
Das Ultraschallgerät wird in den Motorraum so eingebaut, dass Verschmutzung durch Spritzwasser vermieden wird,
aber die Ultraschallwellen den möglichen Eintrittsbereich des Marders beschallen. Dabei sollte darauf geachtet werden,
dass vor der Lautsprecheröffnung des Gerätes möglichst viel Freiraum ist, damit sich die Ultraschalltöne möglichst
weiträumig im Motorraum ausbreiten können. Wenn der Motorraum sehr stark zerklüftet ist, dann kann es erforderlich
sein, mehrere Geräte zu montieren. Nicht unmittelbar an den Auspuffkrümmer oder direkt neben dem Motor, wegen zu
großer Hitze, einbauen!
Tipp: Hat der Marder seine Duftmarken bereits hinterlassen, müssen diese unbedingt durch eine gründliche
Motorwäsche oder den speziellen K&K Duftmarkenentferner beseitigt werden. Dies gilt auch für den Stellplatz, Garage,
Car-Port etc. Verzichten Sie auf diese Maßnahme, könnte der Marder zur Verteidigung seines Reviers animiert werden.
Anschluss: Pluskabel (mit Sicherungshalter) an + 12 V Batterie, Minuskabel an Klemme 15 oder an Minus Batterie
(Masse). Möglichst sollte Klemme 15 verwendet werden, dann arbeitet die Marderscheuche nur bei parkendem Auto!
Die Funktion wird durch die blinkende Leuchtdiode angezeigt. Blinkt die LED nicht, liegt entweder keine Spannung an
oder die Drähte wurden vertauscht (plus-minus)
HINWEIS: Ultraschall ist für Menschen nicht hörbar. Die Funktionsfähigkeit wird durch die blinkende LED
angezeigt.
Garantie: 24 Monate auf die Funktionsfähigkeit des Gerätes. Ansonsten keine weiteren Garantieansprüche.

The ultrasonic module is installed in the engine compartment in a manner that avoids dirtying caused by water
splashing, but allows the ultrasonic beams to cover the possible access area of the marten. It is important in this respect
to ensure that there is sufficient clear space in front of the loudspeaker opening on the module so that the ultrasonic
tones can be spread as far as possible throughout the engine compartment. It may be necessary to install several
modules if the engine compartment has an abundance of nooks and crannies. It should not be mounted directly adjacent
to the exhaust manifold or engine, due to the excessive heat encountered in these locations!
Tip: if the marten has already left his odour markings, these should be removed by thoroughly washing the engine. This
also applies to the parking spot, garage, car port, etc. The marten may feel the need to defend its territory if this
measure is not taken.
Connection: connect the plus cable (with fuse holder) to the + 12 V battery, the minus cable to terminal 15. The
integrated light diode illuminates after connection to the 12 V operating voltage and indicates that the module is
functioning. Failure of the diode to illuminate indicates that there is either no voltage or the leads have been incorrectly
connected (plus - minus).
Guarantee: 24 month guarantee on module functionality. Other guarantee entitlements do not exist.
