SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 ports used during service
procedures
The SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 contains a number of ports that are used
during service procedures.
The following figure shows ports that are used during service procedures.

Any of these ports other than the Technician port can be used during normal
operation. Connect a device to the Technician port only when you are directed to
do so by a service procedure or by your IBM service representative.

SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 unused ports

The SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 includes one Ethernet port and one serial
port that are not used.
The following figure shows the Ethernet port that is not used during service
procedures or normal operation. This port is disabled in software to make the port
inactive.
