When to Replace the Operating Voltage Fuse
The 600 controller is supplied with two 2–A fuses installed for operation.
Note: The Waters 600E is protected from abnormal line power and component anomalies
by the fuses located at the AC power cord connector. Check these fuses if the 600
controller LCD screen fails to display the powerup screen or the cooling fans fail to run
when the controller is turned on.
The Waters 600E Multisolvent Delivery System Startup Kit includes the required spare
fuses.
Changing the Operating Voltage Fuse
1. Turn off the 600 controller front panel power switch and remove the power cord
from its connector on the rear panel of the 600 controller.
2. Pry open the power connector cover with a screwdriver.
