To insert a SIM:
1.
Shut down the Slate. If you are not sure whether the Slate is off or in Hibernation, turn the Slate
on by sliding the power switch. Then shut down the Slate through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the Slate.
3.
Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet.
4.
Remove the digital card from the SD Card Reader.
5.
Insert the SIM into the SIM tray (1), and gently push the SIM tray in (2) until it is firmly seated.
6.
Replace the digital card in the SD Card Reader.
7.
Reconnect external power and external devices.
8.
Turn on the Slate.
Removing a SIM
