• To avoid affecting the operation of the appliance, do not use
the device, in environment near equipment with strong electro
magnetic field. Always keep a good distance from such equipments
when operating the bascule, or simply turn off those equipments
radiating strong electromagnetic fields while operating.
• In order to obtain a proper result, please weigh in bare feet.
• Do not place the bascule on a carpet or uneven surface.
• Use only high-quality batteries. Low quality batteries may leak and
cause damage to the appliance.
• Batteries are very dangerous if swallowed. Please always keep
batteries and this appliance away from children. If the batteries are
swallowed, please get medical care immediately
• If the batteries leak, wipe them with a cloth and dispose of the
batteries according to the applicable laws. Avoid battery acid to
contact with your skin or eyes. In case the battery acid contacts
with your eyes, rinse your eyes with clean water and consult a
doctor. If battery acid comes into contact with your skin, wash the
affected area thoroughly with plenty of water and soap.
• Never use old and new batteries or different brands at the same
time.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use your appliance for a long
time.
• Remove the batteries before disposing of the appliance.
• Do not continue to use the appliance if it has been dropped or if the
surface is broken or cracked.
• Do not step on the appliance with sudden movement or abrupt
movement off the appliance.
• If the appliance is to be used in the bathroom, it should never come
into contact with water.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids; do not keep
under running water.
• Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, high temperatures
or continuous high humidity.
• Never operate or place the appliance on or near hot surfaces, such
