Serial Port Cable
Purpose
The serial port cable is used to connect the CONSOLE port of the core switch card
or the D port of every card with the serial port of local computer. It is used for the
aforesaid connection only when equipment commissioning is performed. The
hardware number of the serial port cable is 3.695.341R1A.
Appearance view
The end of serial port cable connected with the AN5516-06 is a RJ-45 connector
and the end connected with the network management computer is a DE-9
connector, as illustrated in Figure 5-17.
