8. Check whether the existing drill holes on the caravan fit the corresponding holes on the supports. If
not, drill 8 mm holes for mounting the supports onto the caravan.
9. Plug the old holes with suitable material and the corresponding plugs.

Preparing the system extension

1. Unfasten the screws on the AL-KO system
extension.

Installing shims

If the system extension (28) is fastened
ADVICE
with adhesive, detach the extension using
a suitable tool (e.g. A knife).
Apply lubricant to the shim.
1. Push the shim (26) in under the system exten-
sion (28) until the hole pattern matches up with
the screws in the base.
2. Press the shim (26) onto the vehicle floor.
3. Screw on the AL-KO system extension tightly
again.
