Troubleshooting

Problem
Connecting and/or disconnecting the quick
couplers is difficult.
It is hard to steer the vehicle.
The hydraulic system is leaking.
The attachment does not function.
Possible Cause
1. The hydraulic system is pressurized.
2. The engine is running.
3. The remote hydraulic valve is
not placed in the float (only on
vehicles with serial numbers prior to
239999999).
1. The remote hydraulic valve linkage is
out of adjustment (only on vehicles with
serial numbers prior to 239999999).
2. The level of the hydraulic fluid is too
low.
3. The hydraulic fluid is hot.
1. A fitting is loose.
2. A fitting is missing an O-ring.
1. The quick couplers are not fully
engaged.
2. The quick couplers are interchanged.
3. A belt is slipping.

Corrective Action
1. Depressurize the hydraulic system.
2. Shut off the engine.
3. Place the remote hydraulic valve in the
float.
1. Adjust the valve linkage.
2. Fill the hydraulic fluid to the proper
level.
3. Allow the hydraulic system to cool.
1. Tighten the fitting.
2. Install the proper O-ring.
1. Check and correct the quick couplers.
2. Check and correct the quick couplers.
3. Check and adjust the belt tension.
