Greasing the Bearings,
Bushings, and Pivots
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Every 50 hours
Lubricate all grease fittings for the bearings and
bushings with No. 2 general-purpose, lithium-based
grease. Lubricate bearings and bushings
1. – Grease daily
2. – Grease daily (if fitted)
immediately after every washing, regardless of the
interval listed.
Replace any damaged grease fittings.
Grease all cutting unit grease points and inject
sufficient grease such that you can see clean grease
escaping from the roller end caps. This provides
visible evidence that the roller seals have been
purged of grass and debris and will ensures maximum
working life.
The grease-fitting locations and quantities are as
follows:
