Route Calculation
Preference for Freeways
NOTE: Choosing "Less often" on the "Preference for motorways" may not completely
remove Motorways from a route.
The settings will be automatically saved.

The Road Types allows you to set the road types to avoid and to warn while
calculating a route. The items on the "Road Types" screen are described below.

Unsurfaced Roads
Ferry Routes
The settings will be automatically saved.
Move the slider towards Less often to use roads other
than freerways where possible when calculating a route.
Move the slider towards More often to use freeways
where possible when calculating a route.
Route Options
Select the check box in the Avoid column.
Select the check box in the Warn column. The warning
will display at the start of every trip containing a toll road.
Select the check box in the Avoid column.
Select the check box in the Warn column. The warning
will display at the start of every trip containing unsurfaced
roads.
Select the check box in the Avoid column.
Select the check box in the Warn column. The warning
will display at the start of every trip containing ferry
routes.
