    Navigation Basics 1.1 About GPS The Global Positioning System (GPS) is available at any time, free of charge, and accurate to within 5m (15ft). GPS navigation is made possible by a network of satellites. Each satellite transmits a range of signals which are utilized by GPS receivers to determine an exact location.

    NOTE: Before you begin, check if your vehicle is fitted with a heat-reflective or heated windscreen. If so, you may need to purchase an external antenna for your device to receive GPS signals.     Using My Home To use this feature, you need to first set up the location of your “home”. .     2.3 Navigation Aids When a route is calculated, by default, the 3D Map screen is shown. The route is displayed in a green line on the map. You will be guided to your destination with turn-by-turn visual and voice prompts. When coming to a turn point or the entrance or exit of highway/expressway, the turn section is marked in yellow.
