Bottom Exhaust Fan – Hard Disk Drive Chamber
There is a 120 mm fan preinstalled at the bottom of the Hard Disk Drive Chamber to exhaust the heat generated from
the hard disk drives. The fan is set to rotate at 1200 rpm to generate a steady air flow from top to bottom, efficiently

To access the fan bracket:
1. Open the right side small panel as demonstrated in Section 2.1, Figure 4.
2. The fan bracket is located on the bottom of the Hard Disk Drive Chamber (figure 41).
3. Push the tab on the side of the bracket to unclick the fan and lift it up from the location (figure 42).
4. You can service your fan now.
5. Place the fan bracket back into its location. Push the bracket in until you hear a click, indicating the
bracket is secured.
