Using burst modes
It can be difficult to take photos of fast-moving subjects or capture
natural facial expressions and gestures of your subjects in photos. In
these cases, select one of the burst modes.

In Shooting mode, press [Fn].

Press [w] or [r] to select DRIVE.

Press [e] or [t] to select an option.

Description
Take a single photo.
Single
•
While [Shutter] is fully pressed down, the
camera takes photos continuously.
Continuous
•
The maximum number of photos
depends on the capacity of your memory
card.
•
While [Shutter] is fully pressed down, the
camera takes VGA photos (5 photos per
Motion
second; maximum of 30 photos).
Capture
•
The camera automatically shows you the
photos just taken and then saves them.

Shooting Options
Option
Description
•
Take three photos with different
exposures: normal, underexposed, and
overexposed.
AEB
•
It is best to use a tripod because it takes
some time to save photos taken with
AEB.
The options you can select vary depending on the shooting mode.

Press [MENU/OK] or [Fn].
•
You cannot set the ACB option or use the flash and timer unless
you select Single.
•
When you select Motion Capture, the resolution will be set to VGA
and the ISO speed will be set to Auto.
