Using the timer

In Shooting mode, press [t] repeatedly to change the
timer option.
Option Description
(10 Sec) Take a photo in 10 seconds.
Take a photo in 2 seconds.
(2 Sec)
Take a photo in 10 seconds and take
(Double)
another in 2 seconds.
Detect your movement and then take a
(Motion Timer)
photo.
To turn off the timer, press [t] repeatedly until no timer icon is
displayed.

Press [Shutter] to start the timer.
• The AF-assist light/Timer lamp blinks. The camera will
automatically take a photo after the specified time.
• Press [t] to cancel the timer.
• When Smile Shot or Blink Detection is set, the timer is not
available.
