• Tighten nut 10 using the open end wrench 13 Note:
never tighten nut 10 without the router bit - this can
damage collet 19
• After all the operations have been completed, re-
lease spindle lock 9
Assembling / dismantling of dust extractor con-
necting adaptor (see fig. 2)
• Install adaptor 15 as shown in figure 2.
• Connect the external dust extracting device to adap-
tor 15 (use a suitable adaptor if necessary)
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence
Parallel guide assembly / adjustment / installation
(see fig. 3-4)
• Assemble parallel guide 17 as shown in figure 3.
• Lock the parallel guide 17 on the base plate 5 as
shown in figure 4.
• Parallel guide 17 has an adjusting screw 23 provid-
ing for the fine adjustment. For this purpose perform
the following:
• weaken the locking screw 25;
• rotate the adjusting screw 23 to move the thrust
plate 24;
• notice that there is a scale at the bottom of the
thrust plate 24, that shows the distance at which the
thrust plate 24 was moved;
• tighten the locking screw 25
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence
Initial operating of the power tool
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power sup-
ply voltage must match the information quoted on the
power tool identification plate.
Switching the power tool on / off
Short-term switching on / off
To switch on, press and hold on / off switch 7, to switch
off - release it
Long-term switching on / off
Switching on:
Push on / off switch 7 and lock it in the position with
locking button for on / off switch 6
Switching off:
Push and release on / off switch 7
Dust suction during the power tool op-
eration
Dust collection decreases dust concentra-
tion in the air and prevents build up of dust
at the work station
While operating the power tool, always use a
vacuum cleaner suitable for collecting process-gener-
ated dust A special adapter is used to join the vacuum
cleaner to adaptor 15
Recommendations on the power tool op-
eration
Setting milling depth (see fig. 5-8)
The adjustment of the milling depth may
only be carried out when the power tool
is switched off.
• Install the power tool on the even horizontal sur-
face
• Unscrew the locking screws 2 - this will provide for
the possibility to move the power tool body freely (see
fig. 5.3).
• Unscrew the locknut 3 - this will provide for the pos-
sibility to move the milling depth gauge 1 freely (see
fig. 5.2-5.3).
• Move the milling depth gauge 1 upward (see fig. 6.1).
• Lower the power tool body, so that the end of the
router bit could touch the work piece surface (see
fig. 6.2). Tighten the locking screws 2 while keeping
the power tool body in this position (see fig. 6.3).
• Move the milling depth gauge 1 downward, till its
end touches the stop lug 4 (see fig. 7.1). As a result,
you have locked the "zero position"
• To set the milling depth, move the milling depth
gauge 1 upward (see fig. 7.2) orienting by the scale 11
(it is recommended to use an additional measurement
tool for more accurate installation)
• Tighten the locknut 3 to lock the set milling depth
(see fig. 8.1).
• Unscrew the locking screws 2 - this will provide for
the possibility to move the power tool body freely (see
fig. 8.2).
• Move the power tool body downward when the end
of the milling depth gauge 1 touches the stop lug 4 the
set milling depth will be achieved (see fig. 8.3). Tighten
the locking screws 2, while keeping the power tool
body in this position
Milling direction
Milling should always be performed against
the router bit rotation direction Otherwise,
the power tool will be subject to jerks, which
may result in the loss of control over it
General operational recommendations (see fig. 9)
While in operation, be sure to use the
parallel guide 17 - this will provide for the
required control over the power tool.
• Mark out and fix the treated workpiece.
• Set the required milling depth and lock the power
tool body in this position, as described above
• Adjust the parallel guide 17, as described above
• Turn on the power tool
• Hold the power tool using the handle with one hand
and hold the parallel guide 17 with the other hand (see
fig. 9).
• Perform the milling operation with a uniform ad-
vance, observing the recommendations concerning
