2. Remove the two screws from the metal plate covering the opening
for cable connector.
Remove the plate.
4. Unpack the option card.
5. Align the connector on the card with the connector on the printer
control board.
Push the card firmly into the connector until it is completely in place.

The two connectors should fit snugly
together.
7. Gently tighten the screws to secure the card to the system board.
8. Continue with Ôclosing the printer coverÕ on page 90.
