Installing the Cleaning Felt
The cleaning felt is used to prevent the pollution of the pressure roller.
1. Open the rear cover.
2. Pull the green grip towards you.
3. Unpack the cleaning felt.
4. Put the cleaning felt into place as
illustrated in the figure below.
When the cleaning felt is installed, take
caution against changing itÕs
direction.(Insert up the part marked
ÔUPÕ of the cleaning felt to your printer.)
5. Pull the green grip lightly to return
to the original position.
6. Close the rear cover.
For more information on installing procedure, see the attached label.
Avoid touching the contact area.
Do not remove the cleaning felt from its packaging previously.
If you purchase a new toner cartridge, the cleaning felt is included
in its package.
When you change the toner cartridge, change the cleaning felt too.
