6.2. Adjustments
6.2.1. Adjusting clearance over transmission belt
Valve position is set on basis of digital scale (Fig. 10). Clearance between the valve (upon its
closure) and the belt should be more than 5 mm.
Prior to commissioning of SAND gritter adjust clearance over transmission belt with use of
board L (Fig. 11). Clearance between board L and the belt should be 25 mm.
WARNING!
Prior to starting the gritter, clean the clearance from any remaining ice
and iced sand.

6.2.2. Adjusting the angle of blades on spreading disk
An additional adjustment can be made by changing the angle of the blades on spreading disk
(Fig. 12). Unscrew the nut and M6 screw, turn the blade to appropriate position (1-5) and screw the
screw in the new position.
