Valves Cycle Test
1. Open all six valves by pressing:
HIDDEN KEY#2
SHAKER
HIDDEN KEY#3
PUMP SPEED UP
PUMP START/STOP
PUMP SPEED DOWN

Figure 29 on page 94
2. Insert 0.170" tubing into each valve, then press START to start cycling
the valves.
3. Allow valves to cycle for at least one minute, then press STOP.
4. Verify that no errors have accumulated in the error log. If errors exist,
determine which valve is causing the error by running the cycle test
again. Isolate problem to power (Eng./De-eng.), position switch (Open/
Closed), or valve current (High-current). See

5. Exit the valves test by pressing MODIFY PROGRAM.
Pneumatic Pinch Valve Pressure Test
Note: Power on the device in the Utilities mode of operation by pressing and
holding SHAKER while switching the power on. Hold SHAKER until the
UTILITIES menu appears on the display. On the UTILITIES menu, press
MODIFY PROGRAM until the arrow points to DIAGNOSTICS, then press
START.
1. Select the valves test by using MODIFY PROGRAM and START.
2. Open all pneumatic pinch valves by pressing the following keys:
PUMP UP ARROW
PUMP START/STOP
PUMP DOWN ARROW

SHAKER
Hidden Key #3
