Rectify the faulty contact (e.g. copper rods not inserted
correctly into the sockets) and press the Start/Stop
button once more. The contact check is now repeated.
The unit starts the residual gold deposition process
automatically when the gold electrolyte reaches
the required temperature. Until this temperature is
reached, errors can be corrected by pressing the
Start/Stop key to interrupt the heating-up process,
correcting the error and starting once more. The
sponge takes on a darker colour during deposition.
When the residual gold deposition process is complete
(remaining running time display shows "End"), remove
the copper rods from the contacts. Push the electro-
forming head upwards, allow the head and the residual
gold sponge to drip dry and then remove these. Rinse
the sponge under running water and then dry.
