Prepare denture bases as described in the dental
procedures for the AGC
electrolyte UK (lower) (Order No. 6782) or OK (upper)
(Order No. 6781).
Pour all of the of gold electrolyte into the 1000 ml
beaker, add 8 ml brightener additive and insert the
large triangular agitator rod.
Place the beaker onto the hotplate. Assemble the elec-
troforming head and the silicone seal. Pull the copper
rods through the two front holes in the silicone seal
(Nos. 8 + 9). Push the head onto the mount. Arrange
the denture base (the lower edge of the plaster model
must not be lower than the anode!) Push the head onto
the beaker and connect the top ends of the copper rods
to the mount (see sketch); ensure that the denture
base does not come into contact with the anode!
Press the mode button for the required denture base:
Mode 1:
Lower (operating time 390 minutes,
weight approx. 15.5 g)
Mode 2:
Upper (operating time 539 minutes,
weight approx. 21.5 g)
Press the Start/Stop button to activate the process. The
3-digit display (18) now indicates the total operating
time. The unit automatically checks that the contacts
are in order. If the contact LED above the two contacts
is constantly illuminated, the contact is in order. If the
LED flashes, and the error code "F0" is displayed, there
is no contact.
!
Note:
Rectify the fault (e.g. copper rods not inserted correctly
into the sockets) and press the Start/Stop button again.
The contact check is then carried out again.
