Lift the grass collection bag by the handle upwards a little, and then remove the grass collection bag from the rear discharge chute.

ASSEMBLY OF THE SIDE DISCHARGE CHUTE NOTE: The side discharge chute is used to distribute grass clippings from the side of the mower while it is in use. To use this function, the grass collection bag is NOT required to be assembled on the lawn mower.

F) NOTE: • Always try to adjust the cutting height of the lawn mower while positioned on the area of grass you plan to mow. • It is recommended to start on a higher setting and mow a trial area of lawn before deciding on the final cutting height position.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK IMPORTANT NOTES FOR CHARGING BATTERY The battery in your new tool is not charged when it leaves the plant; therefore, it must be full charged before using the first time.

Please review the following recommendations for optimum mulching performance. 1) Avoid mowing when the grass is wet from rain or dew. Wet grass may form clumps which interfere with the mulching action and reduce runtime.
