Check the following points on a daily basis, before and after robot operation.

Three-month inspection
Check the following points every 3 months and apply grease if needed.

CAUTION
Using grease other than those recommended by YAMAHA might shorten the
service life of the ball screw, linear guide and linear bushing shaft.
Check items
Check for damage, dent and
excessively tight bends.
Check for unusual vibration
and noise.
Check for unusual vibration
and noise, and for abnormal
temperature rise.
Check items
• Check for dust buildup or debris.
Clean if necessary. Apply grease after
cleaning.
• Check to see if the ball screw, linear
guide and ball bushing are lubricated
(not dry). Apply grease if necessary.
Standard robots:

Daphne Eponex No. 2 (Idemitsu)
Clean room robots:
LG-2 (NSK)
