Electrical installation ⚠ CAUTION • All electrical connections to the machine must be carried out in compliance with laws and regulations in force. • All installation, operating and maintenance activities must be carried out by qualified personnel. • Please refer to the specific wiring diagram for the machine that you have purchased, and which was sent with the unit.
The working principle of UAA chillers is showed as Figure 4: 1. The low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant enters the compressor and becomes a high-temperature and high-pressure gas after compressed, then enters the condenser from compressor, and exchanges the heat with cooling air pass through condenser coil.
5 HANDLING Transportation Block equipment from sliding on lorries to prevent damage to the panels and base frame. Avoid bumping, jolting and impacts during unloading and/or moving the machine. Do not push or pull the equipment from any part other than the base frame. Failure to follow above-mentioned instructions could cause serious damages for which the manufacturer will not be held liable.
• To minimize the vibration and noise transferred to building and surroundings, spring shock absorbers (accessories sent together with equipment) must be installed. Note: DAIKIN is not responsible for any equipment issue resulting from an Improper designed or constructed foundation.

6.2.2 Isolator Installation Provided isolator consists of one upper and lower housing, assembled telescoping and with a tap leveling adjustment bolt and jam nut. Installation step: Arrange the isolators at accessories box at the correct position of machine (refer to tables in section 7).
Chiller Piping 6.3.1 Recommended water system Installation illustration for the water system of a single equipment: Air vent valve 6.3.2 Recommended water system Piping must be designed as level and simple as possible. In this way, water resistance is reduced, and system performance is improved.
Page 28
The water system MUST have: 1. A strainer with at least 25 meshes per square inch must be installed on the equipment inlet water pipe, near the evaporator and heat recovery (if installed). The strainer prevents solid particles from entering the heat exchanger, as they could damage it or reduce its heat exchanging capacity.

Electrical Installation 6.4.1 Main power cable (incoming power supply) All wiring must comply with local codes and the national electrical code. • All the external distributed wires and breakers selected for the unit must match these conditions: the maximum operating current of the unit is satisfied, and malfunction will not be caused by startup current.

7 MAINTENANCE Daily Maintenance 7.1.1 Refrigerant Cycle Maintenance of the refrigerant cycle includes maintaining a log of the operating conditions and checking that the unit has the proper refrigerant charge. At every inspection, the suction, and discharge pressures should be noted and recorded, as well chilled water temperatures and pressure drop.
moment, slightly heat up the refrigerant tank with a portable heater to increase internal pressure of the tank. 4. The other way to charge the refrigerant is to increase the height of the refrigerant tank. Lift the refrigerant tank above the condenser so the liquid refrigerant will flow into the condenser under gravitational force.
Notes: Do not use the R22 and air mixture or oxygen to raise the pressure to prevent explosion. If there is a leak at brazing point, or a washer replacement is needed, it is necessary to reclaim all refrigerant before proceeding with the hot work or replacement work.
