- Page 6 Assembly (continued) Combining the middle crossbar and molding NOTE: The middle crossbar (P) and middle stiles (N and O) are designed to be reversible so that you can choose the same finish as the whole unit or achieve slate surround for the fireplace insert. Refer to the dowel assembling guide drawing in this step for further clarification on how to properly glue in the wooden dowels.
