The installation instructions are the same when installing the sbRIO-9691 sheet metal frame or the sbRIO-9692 sheet metal frame, except the sbRIO-9691 requires less screws. The sbRIO-9691 stacking kit uses up to 19 screws, and the sbRIO-9692 stacking kit uses up to 22 screws.

Use an M3 Phillips screwdriver and eight (sbRIO-9691) or eleven (sbRIO-9692) M3x5 screws to attach the sbRIO-960X/961X/963X/964X to the sbRIO-969X sheet metal frame, as shown in Figure 1. Note Do not overtighten screws. You may need to adjust the screws when assembly is complete.

Use four M3 5 screws to fasten the first board-only C Series module into the underside of the sbRIO-9691/9692 sheet metal frame, as shown in Figure 4.
