Design features of the power tool
Rotation stabilizer
Rotation stabilizer (on-load stabilization of rotation)
maintains set rotation rate irrespective of press force
on the surface being polished - the uniform rotation
rate of the wheel ensures the best quality of polish-
ing
Speed selector thumbwheel
Using revolution adjustment switch 6, you may se-
lect the required spindle speed (also during opera-
tion)
The required speed is dependent on the material and
can be determined with practical trials
When operating your power tool at a low speed for a
long time, it has to be cooled down for 3 minutes To
do it, set a maximum speed and leave your power tool
to run idle
Recommendations on the power tool op-
eration
• It is strongly recommended to use liquid polishing
compounds Never use abrasive or grinding com-
pounds Abrasive components may damage coated
surfaces
• Run the power tool idle for one minute before the
operation
• Regularly apply the polishing compound on the sur-
face during polishing
• When applying the polishing compound on the pol-
ishing accessory leave approximately one forth of the
working surface uncovered by the compound
• The quality of polishing depends on proper selection
of the rotation speed, which is mainly determined by
the material being processed
• High speed is set when high quality of polishing is
not required
• Use low speed to deliver the best quality of polishing
and to achieve high finish of the surface.
• If the part being processed is heated up, stop opera-
tion and let it cool down to avoid deformation
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
