Use only bridges with built in GDT (gas discharge tube). Otherwise the generator circuit is
loaded with the line voltage in series with 40 . This can destroy the generator

Max. applied EUT voltage with GDT coupling is given by the GDT breakdown voltage of 90 V.
Other line voltages may require an GTD with adapted line voltage.
