Taking Measurements

1. Press the ON/OFF button (5) to turn on the device and
the backlight of the display. After a performing a self-
test of the display for approx. 2 seconds, the device is
ready for use.
2. Briefly press the ON/OFF button to select the desired
measuring unit in the following sequence:
PSI → BAR → kPa → kg/cm
3. Place the nozzle (1) of the tyre
pressure gauge on the valve of
the tyre to be checked.
4. Ensure a good seal exists
between the nozzle and the
valve by pressing tightly. No
hissing sound of escaping air
should be heard.
5. Wait until the reading on the
display is stable for about 2
seconds.
6. Remove the nozzle from the valve and read the tyre
pressure on the display.
7. You can go on to measure other tyres even if the
display still shows the previously measured value.
8. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approx. 3 se-
conds to turn off the device. If you do not operate the
tyre pressure gauge for more than 85 seconds, it auto-
matically switches off.
