Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the appliance when it is cold.
Electric Hotplates
We recommend that you wipe away all
liquid that spills onto the hob with a damp
soft cloth and then dry them by turning the
hotplate on for a few seconds. Never use
sharp objects such as metal scourers,
knives, etc. to remove food that has dried
onto the surface of the hotplate.
Avoid salt coming into contact with the
surface.
If, after prolonged use, the hotplate's
coating wears away, it is advisable to
sprinkle it with a few drops of oil, or use
any of the maintenance products available
on the market. Do not use abrasive
products.
With use, the area around the hotplate will
turn yellow in colour. This is normal. To
clean it, use products for cleaning stainless
steel.

General Maintenance
To care for the enamel, glass, shiny
aluminium and steel areas, use a sponge
and soapy water, but only when the
appliance is cold. Do not use abrasive
cleaning products or scourers, which could
scratch the enamel. Do not leave acidic
liquids (lemon juice, vinegar etc.) on the
enamel for any length of time. The use of
stainless steel cleaners is recommended for
the areas made of this material. Apply the
product with either a damp cloth or directly
onto the surface to be cleaned. Polish with
a soft dry cloth or chamois leather.
