Suction process
 Perform the suction process.
 Regularly check the filling level in the
dirt receptacle, since the device does
not switch off automatically.
 Empty the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer as necessary (described in the
chapter "Emptying the vacuum cleaner
waste container").
 If necessary, clean or replace the filter
(described in chapter "Care and mainte-
nance").
Dry vacuum cleaning
– The appliance is fitted with a disposal
bag, order no. 6.907-347.0 (5 ea.).
Note: You can use this appliance to take up
all types of dust up to dust class M. It is statu-
torily necessary to use a dust collection bag.
Note: The appliance is suited for sucking in
dry, combustible dusts with MAK values
greater than or equal to 0.1 mg/m
– To vacuum fine dust, you must use an
additional disposal bag.
Changeover from wet to dry vacuum
cleaning
ATTENTION
Please note the following when switch-
ing from wet to dry vacuum cleaning:
If you vacuum dry dust while the filter ele-
ment is still wet the filter will become ob-
structed and may be damaged beyond re-
pair.
 Dry the wet filter properly before use or
replace it with a dry one.
 Change the filter, if required, according
to instructions under the section "Main-
tenance and Care".
Installing the dust disposal bag
 Lock parking brakes.

 Unplug the pressure equalizer at the
lower end.
 Pull the handle of the container up-
wards. The container is unlocked and
lowered.
 Pull the container out by the handle.

 Insert the disposal bag so that it is snug
against the reservoir wall and the reser-
voir bottom.
 Pull disposal bag over the container.
DANGER
Risk of explosion! The electrostatic earth-
ing between chassis and dirt container via
the spring bow must be ensured.
 Replace container and lock with handle.
WARNING
Risk of crushing! Watch out for moving
parts when removing and replacing the
container.
 Plug in the pressure balancing.
Caution: Constantly monitor the fill level
in the dirt receptacle when vacuuming
high volumes of liquid, as the receptacle
can be filled within a matter of seconds
and could overflow.

No dusts hazardous to health should be
sucked in during wet vacuuming.
– To suck wet dirt, always remove the dis-
posal bag.
Removing the dust disposal bag
 Lock parking brakes.
Illustration
 Unplug the pressure equalizer at the
lower end.
 Pull the handle of the container up-
wards. The container is unlocked and
lowered.
 Switch on device to avoid releasing
dangerous dusts.
 Pull the container out by the handle.
Illustration
 Put the disposal bag over.
 Tightly close disposal bag by means of
the closing strip.
 Remove disposal bag.
 Dispose of the disposal bag according
to the local provisions.
 Reinsert the container.
 Turn off the appliance.
 Push the handle of the container down-
wards. Container is locked
