3.3.3 Operating and display
elements
The positions of the valve are indicated by
an optical position indicator mounted on the
rotary actuator. The yellow and black clips
can be remounted according to the instal-
lation situation.

In case of longitudinal design the position
indicator shall be mounted as follows:
• Fig. 3-10 indicates the closed position

Optionally the rotary actuator bar-agturn
can be mounted transversely to the pipe-
line. The position indicators are mounted as
follows:
• Fig. 3-10 indicates the open position
Fig. 3-11 indicates the closed position

NOTE
Make sure that the optical position indica-
tor together with a ball valve always cor-
responds to the ball bore or, in the case of
a butterfly valve, always corresponds to
the disc.

3.3.4 Accessories

An explosion can occur if components are
operated with insufficient protection class
and without approved explosion protec-
tion.
• When selecting the pneumatic valves
and the accessories, pay attention to
the combination with Ex-approved
products.
