As the top of the line model in B&W's DM Series, The DM16 represents the ultimate integration
of high style and performance.
Without resorting to professional studio-style configurations, the DM16 incorporates many of
B&W's major technological innovations; including the use of polymer driver cones and domes.
Technical highlights
B&W's ability to reduce the number of crossover network components to an absolute minimum
means that the signal has a more direct path to the drivers – an advantage which produces a
cleaner, more linear performance. B&W's patented APOC Circuit protects both systems
against excessive overload.
The enclosures have matched the design simplicity with the beauty of real wood veneers.
Their high density, bevel wedged front baffles are more than just visually pleasing – the bevel
actually helps top reproduce diffraction and so improve dispersion.
