Red LED indicator flashes (1 time per second).
The battery is discharged (empty) and must
be replaced. The machine is blocked and will
not be ready for operation until after being
voltage-free for approx. 10 seconds.
Red LED indicator flashes (2 times per
second).
The machine is overheated, the over-temper-
ature protection has responded. After cooling
down, the machine is ready for operation
again. If the over-temperature protection
responds several times briefly after each
other, have the power tool checked by the
after-sales service.
Brief lighting up of both LEDs.
The cordless screwdriver switches to the
Energy Saving Mode.
Repair and customer service.
Before mounting or replacing application tools or accessories, remove the bat-

tery. This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries through
accidental starting of the power tool.

Have maintenance carried out

nel. Incorrectly mounted leads and compo-
nents can cause serious injuries. Have the
required service carried out only through a
FEIN customer service agent.

Parameter assignment
(ASM..PC/ASW..PC only)
Differing to the existing standard programs,
the parameters of the AccuTec screwdrivers
can be freely assigned in some ranges. To real-
ize these special solutions, an additional PC
program is required for assignment of the
parameters. This program is on the included
USB card of the separately available USB pro-
gramming adapter. Afterwards, the data can
be transferred to the screwdriver with the
programming adapter. The current software
can be downloaded from FEIN via the Inter-
net under www.fein.com. It can be found in
the country-specific AccuTec sector.
When using in environments
WARNING
with conductive dust in the air,
such as when working metals, this dust can
settle in the interior of the power tool. There-
fore, regularly blow out the interior of the
power tool from outside via the ventilation
openings with dry, oil-free compressed air;
always wear eye protection when doing this.
Do not attempt to clean
CAUTION
clogged or dirty ventilation
openings of the power tool with pointed
metal objects; use nonmetal tools or objects
if necessary.
Do not use cleaning agents
CAUTION
and solvents that can cause
damage to plastic parts. These include: Gas-
oline, carbon-tetrachloride, chloric solvents,
ammonia and domestic cleaning agents that
contain ammonia.
