Assembly instructions.
Before mounting or replacing application tools or accessories, remove the bat-
WARNING
tery. This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries through
accidental starting of the power tool.
Removing and charging the battery
(figure 4).
Prior to the first charging procedure,
read the operating instructions of the
battery charger.
Charge the battery completely before
putting into operation for the first time.
Release the battery by pressing the battery
unlocking button and pull the battery out of
the handle. Do not exert any force when
doing this.
Connect the battery charger to a socket out-
let, slide the battery onto the battery charger
and charge the battery. After the charging
process is over, insert the battery into the
power tool and pull the plug of the battery
charger out of the socket outlet.
A new battery does not reach its full capacity
until after several charging and discharging
procedures.
Mounting the angle head
(ASW 14-6 PC, ASW 14-10 PC,
ASW 14-14 PC , ASW 14-6, ASW 14-10,
ASW 14-14) (figure 5).
Turn the clamping sleeve clockwise almost to
the stop and insert the connector.
Mount the angle head onto the flange and
turn the angle head until the shaft engages
into the connector. After the angle head faces
against the flange, align the angle head and
tighten it sufficiently with the clamping sleeve.
