Operation

Unscrew the lower half of the unit by turning it
clockwise.
Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment by opening the lock (11).
2. Remove the protective foil on the clock battery (14).
3. Insert 6 x AA/LR6 batteries into the compartment (13). Make sure to insert
the batteries according to the marking in the battery compartment.
Setting the clock
1. Press [MODE] (6) three times, EU (Europe) will start to flash on the display.
Press [VOL] (10) to select EU (Europe), JAP (Japan), AUS (Australia) or USA.
The clock can also be set when it is turned off. Press [MODE] once and complete
settings as above. If the unit is moved to another country/region it will need to be
reset to the appropriate setting since the radio broadcasting system varies from
region to region.
2. Press [MODE] three times, "24Hr" will begin to flash on the display.
Press [VOL] (10) to select 24 hr or 12 hr display.
3. Press [MODE] three times, the digits of the clock will begin to flash on the display.
Press [TUN] (3) to set the hours.
4. Press [VOL] (10) to set the minutes.
Listening to the radio
Manual tuning
1. Turn the unit on using [ ] (9).
2. If necessary, press [Fn] (5) to select the radio mode.
3. Press [ST/MO] (1) to select stereo or mono.
4. Press [TUN] (3) and search up or down the frequencies for a desirable station.
5. Set the desired volume using [VOL] (8).
