Connections for remote control light emitter, etc.
1. Remove the connector cover.
2. Connect each connector.
3. When you have finished connecting
the required connectors, put the
cover back in place.
Installing the remote control light emitter
The purpose of the remote control light emitter is to transmit the signal from the steering remote
control to the centre unit. Please install it in a position w here the centre unit can detect the
signal.

Please install the remote control light emitter in such a way that the cable does not rub against the fitting, as this could
damage the cable.

Set to A in the case of 5 x 7 dot m atrix display.

Set to B in the case of 14-segm ent display.
The factory setting is "A".
2CA U TION
If you set the switch wrongly, quotation marks will appear between the minutes and the seconds if your in-car display unit
is a 5 x 7 dot-matrix display, or, if your in-car display unit is a 14-segment display, nothing will appear between the
minutes and the seconds. If this happens, check the switch setting.
