Playback of a disc
When the settings for Rating (Parental Lock) and Passw ord
(see page 49) have been made, the input screen for the
passw ord w ill be displayed w hen playback of a disc corre-
sponding to parental lock is started. Playback of that disc
w ill be possible w hen the correct passw ord has been en-
tered.

Select Rating (Parental Lock)

This part of DVD rating lets you determine how your player
w ill react discs that contain movies that are rated (in the
U.S.A. the M otion Pictures Association of America rates
movies as G, PG, PG-13, etc.).
