An excess or a shortage of refrigerant is the main
cause of trouble to the units. Charge the correct
refrigerant quantity as shown in the item 5.4
and 5.5.
Check for refrigerant leakage in detail. If a large
refrigerant leakage occurs, it will cause difficulty
with breathing or harmful gases would occur if a fire
was being used in the room
Insulate the refrigerant pipes as shown in Fig.5.7.

After connecting the refrigerant piping, seal the refrigerant
pipes by using the field-supplied insulation material.
Insulate the unions and flarenuts at the piping connections
completely. Insulate the liquid piping and gas piping
completely to avoid decreasing of performance and dewing
on the surface of the pipe.
Cap the end of the pipe when the pipe is to be inserted
through a hole.
Do not put pipes on the ground directly without a cap
or vinyl tape at the end of the pipe.

5.3 Stop valve

Operation and tightening of the stop valve should
be performed according to the following Table 5.5
and 5.6, respectively.

G Do not apply an abnormal big force to
the spindle valve at the end of opening

(5.0N m or smaller).
The back seat construction is not provided.
G Do not loosen the stop ring. If the stop ring
is loosened, it is dangerous, since the
spindle will hop out.
G At the test run, fully open the spindle.
If not fully opened, the devices will be
damaged.
