Programming of the Analog Care Phone / GSM Care Phone

Programming the Care Phone is easy to do with a pre-programmed hand terminal
of the model HT-III (see section 4.2). Many of the more common programming
services, such as programming of accessories and changing the speaker volume
can also be done by using the buttons on top. Listed below are descriptions of
the operation of the most common tasks.
5.1

Programming of the Care Phone using the hand terminal

5.1.1 Connecting the hand terminal to the Analog Care Phone / GSM Care Phone
• To connect the hand terminal to the Analog Care Phone / GSM Care Phone, carry out
the procedure below:
• Connect the hand terminal to the back of the Care Phone by disconnecting the mains
adapter from the Care Phone and instead put the narrow end of the red cable into this
socket (labelled 12V). The other end of the red cable should be connected to the hand
terminal's middle socket. (See image 8 below.)
• Plug the mains adapter into the hand terminal's smallest socket.
• Turn on the Care Phone by setting the switch to 1. (If it was already turned on, restart
it.) The hand terminal now connects automatically.
• Proceed with any further programming, as per with sections 5.1.2 and 5.1.3.
