11 Operating the Trimmer

11.1 Holding and Controlling the Trimmer

► Hook the carrying strip (2) onto the carabiner (1).
► Hold the trimmer with your right hand on the control
handle – wrap your thumb around the control handle.
► Hold the trimmer with your the left hand on the left handle
– wrap your thumb around the left handle.

11.2 Setting the performance level

Depending on the application, 3 power levels can be set.
The LEDs indicate the selected power level. The higher the
power level, the faster the cutting attachment can run.
The selected power level affects the battery's runtime. The
lower the power level, the longer the runtime.

► Slide the retaining latch (1) to the
thumb.
The LEDs indicate the selected power level.
► Push the retaining latch (1) forwards, hold briefly and
allow it to spring back.
This selects the next power level. After the third
performance level, it starts again with the first
performance level.
► Push the retaining latch (1) forwards and allow it to spring
back as many times as necessary to select the required
power level.
► If you are using a circular saw blade: Select power level 3.

11.3 Mowing

The cutting height is determined by the distance of the
cutting attachment from the ground.
