WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS

WARNING
• Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing
the old fixture.
CAUTION
• DO NOT USE THIS FIXTURE WITH A DIMMING CIRCUIT. If you
presently have dimmer controls, you will need to remove them, and
replace them with regular electrical switches. If you have a three way
dimmer, you will have to replace it with a regular three way switch. If you
are unfamiliar with electrical installations, we recommend you have a
qualified electrician do your installation.

PREPARATION

Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present.
Compare parts with package contents list and diagram above. If any part is
missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the
product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.

PREPARATION
This unit has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a
safety feature. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless
the plug can be fully inserted. Do NOT attempt to defeat this feature.

FIXTURE INSTALLATION

In order to use your fixture properly, you
will need to install the included springs (E).
Place one end of the spring on the raised
knob, and stretch the spring until it rests in
the groove of the upper knob (Fig. 1).
Repeat on the other side.

Place the clamp (C) over the mounting
surface (Fig. 2). Turn the handle
clockwise until the clamp (C) is secured

to the mounting surface.

Slide the mounting post on the bottom of
the fixture (A) into the clamp (Fig. 3).

BULB INSTALLATION

The fixture (A) is shipped with the
protective grid (E) in place and will need
to be removed to install the bulbs (Fig. 4).
Remove the thumb screw (F) in the front
of the lamp and the protective grid (E) will
pivot out (Fig. 5).

Insert the GU24 base 23W
compact fluorescent bulb (B) into
the socket (Fig. 6). Hold the bulb
by its base, insert the pins into the
2 curved slots in the bulb socket,
and twist clockwise until the bulb
locks into place. The bulb can only go into
the socket one way. Do NOT force the
bulb. Repeat with the other bulb.
CAUTION: DO NOT HOLD THE BULB
BY THE GLASS DURING INSERTION
OR REMOVAL TO PREVENT
ACCIDENTAL BREAKAGE! HOLD THE
BULB BY THE PLASTIC BASE.
